I intend on making a websight for my glass business. The websight will do 3 things, it will give people a background information me, the artist, and also give them a way to get in touch with me. It will show people both my work for sale, and some work that is one of a kind. It will also give people a links page, that will show people some of my intersts in both glass, and other hobbies.
My first page will be a home page, that will have a picture of me blowing glass, and just have basic links on the left side of the page, with a title with the business name, Baigelman Glass.
Next i will have an about the artist page. This page will have a little paragraph about me, telling my histor with blowing glass. It will also include contact information, with a link to my E-Mail.
The Third page will be a Galleries page, that will show picture of art that i have made, but are not willing to sell. Most of the art shown on this page will be one of a kind.
The Fourh page will be a products page. This page will show small pictures of different products that i have, and each picture will be a link to a new page, that will show a larger picture, give color options, if the buyer wants a different color, and finally give a price.
The final page will be a links page. This page will eventually have links to many different glass blowing pages, and other forms of art, anlong with links to my suppliers.

Blowing glass has always been a hobby of mine. Since I will soon be graduation from UMass Boston as a CMT major i need to start looking for a job, and I was hoping that I could combine my hobby, and my degree into a perfect job.
The main idea of my project is to tell the public about myself and the are I create, to show the public my art, and to show the public my production lines, and give them a way to buy it. To tell the public about myself I will give them a brief history about myself, telling them where I am from and how I started blowing glass. I have many pieces of glass that I have created, and has a story behind it. Because of these stories I don't want to sell the glass, but I will want the public to see the art, and hear the story. I want also to show my production line to hopefully make myself some money so I can continue to make art.
My project will consist of three forms of media. They are videos, still pictures, and texts. The videos will show me blowing glass, so the public can see how it is done. The still pictures will show my art, and also let the consumer know what they are buying. And the texts will tell the stores, about me, and about the art.

Examples of Multimedia
The best example of multimedia i can think of is Myspace.com. Myspace allows almost anyone to create their own webpage, and make it unique. You are able to post pictures of almost anything, choose what music you want people to hear while viewing your page, and if you want, you can also add videos. Myspace allows you to put pictures, sounds, and videos all on one page, making on of the best examples of multimedia.
Another good example of multimedia is a powerpoint presentation. It allows you to combine pictures, sounds, and animation to help make a presentation more exciting for the people viewing.
I am supposed to add a picture to my blog, so i thought a picture of me blowing glass would be good.
